The Samuhik Kanya Vivah Yojana is a social welfare initiative aimed at extending support to eligible families associated with the Small Industries Development Council (SIDCO) who may face financial challenges in arranging the marriage of their daughters.
Under this initiative, collective marriage programmes are organized to provide participating families with coordinated support and assistance for the marriage ceremony.
Support for Families
As part of the initiative, eligible brides and their families may be provided with essential marriage-related items and support, which may include:
- Clothing and necessary accessories
- Jewellery, where applicable
- Essential household or marriage-related items
- Support for arrangements associated with the marriage ceremony
By bringing families together through a collective marriage programme, the initiative seeks to help reduce the financial and organizational burden associated with marriage arrangements.
